As a System Engineer at Xyall, you’ll play a key role in defining, integrating, and validating the complex systems that drive our advanced medical instruments. You’ll work closely with R&D, software, and electronics teams to ensure seamless system performance and compliance with medical standards like ISO 13485 and FDA 21 CFR 820. You’ll be working full-time, on site in Eindhoven.

Your Responsibilities
- Knowledge of system-level architecture and requirements for our medical devices.
- Ensure optimal integration of software, electronics, mechanics, and optics
- Translate product requirements into functional system specifications.
- Coordinate and conduct system validation and verification activities.
- Manage interfaces across disciplines to ensure end-to-end system performance.
- Safeguard compliance with medical regulations (ISO 13485, FDA 21 CFR 820).
- Identify technical risks and lead troubleshooting during development and testing.
- Support assembly and industrialization of the medical equipment.
What you Bring
- Master’s degree in Mechanical- , Mechatronics- , Electrical Engineering, Physics or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in system engineering or system integration, preferably in medical devices or other regulated industries.
- Experiences with test engineering, testing and calibration of high tech equipment.
- Affinity with multi-disciplinary development (software, hardware, optics).
- Experience with systems engineering methodologies (e.g., V-model, MBSE). <li">Knowledge of quality standards such as ISO 13485 and risk management (ISO 14971).
- Strong communication skills in English (Dutch is a plus).
